During my time at a large national law firm, I developed strong analytical and problem-resolution skills regarding the application of legal principles to the administration of justice by government agencies.

I have appeared before the Rhode Island Supreme Court over twenty times arguing the interpretation of state laws. I have tried complicated jury and non-jury cases in a number of areas of the law, including zoning, eminent domain, adverse possession and tax assessment appeals. I have appeared before numerous and varied administrative boards and commissions to advocate on behalf of my clients. I served as a hearing officer in my capacity as a panel trustee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for Rhode Island. 

I apply those skills to regulatory matters, employment matters, and corporate governance, and real estate disputes. I regularly negotiate and draft contracts and agreements, leases and purchase and sale agreements.
